Every empire and form of government has fallen and crumbled. This is not evidence of a theocracy being an issue, this actually lends itself to the depravity of man. That is the common denominator. Some forms of government actually encourage human depravity like totalitarian dictatorship (characteristic of atheistic countries) bur out constitutional republic (form of government) with God as our king informing our laws and ethics (theocracy) limits and mitigates the ability for human depravity to rear its ugly head!
